Obituary of Douglas P. "Doug" Lolik

Douglas "Doug" P. Lolik, age 71, died on Sunday, January 23, 2022, at home with family, after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Doug, an artist, and interior designer was born in Schenectady, NY on March 13,1950 and grew up in Glenville, NY. He attended Burnt hills High School and graduated in 1968. Afterward he earned a Degree in Art and Advertising from Mohawk Community College. Doug worked at General and Electric Corp. in Schenectady, NY., for many years, starting in 1970. Always creative, Doug started an interior design business, serving the greater Capitol District. Through his perception and talent, the mundane became special and unique.
Doug is survived by his loving partner, Kevin W. Kowski (Troy, NY), Mother, Barbara (Ramsey) Lolik (Glenville, NY), Sister, Debbie (Lolik) Davis, husband John (Scotia, NY), Brother, Dan Lolik, wife Debbie (Burnt Hills, NY), predeceased by his father Chester "Chet" Lolik and brother Don, survived by Nieces, Nicole Davis (Burlington, VT), and Melissa (Davis) Dupin, husband Alexandre "Alex" (Albany, NY), sons Etienne and Rene' Dupin, Nephews, Nathan Lolik and wife Amanda (Clifton Park, NY), son Kyle and daughter Hayden, Jacob Lolik (Rensselaer, NY), Brian Lolik, son of Don (Costa Mesa, CA).
We shall be a short time apart, missing smiles, many dog walks, and simply just being here for each other.
A dinner will be held at the home Doug love so much, in Troy, on his birthday, March 13, 2022, for friends and family.
