Obituary of David Lee Davis

David Lee Davis (King), 54, of Rensselaer, a loving husband, father (4) and grandfather (8), passed away on November 2, 2021 surrounded by his loving family
He was born in Troy at St. Mary's Hospital to the late Joseph and Bernadette (Davis) King.
David has been a resident of Schenectady, Saratoga, Syracuse and lastly Rensselaer until the time of his passing. He was a devout family-man living by his motto "family first". David will be remembered as the life of the party and was loved by all who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
David's passion and longtime hobby including DJing and he lived up to his stage name of "DJ D-Nice". He was also an awesome cook and enjoyed having cook-offs with his family.
David was the ultimate family man and is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Angela, his 4 children whom he cherished: Brittany (Andy), Brandon (Susan), Brianna (Mike) and Brittany (Davis).
He is also survived by his amazing grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Bryson, Noah, Tristan, Noah, Gio, Santino, Amelia and unborn Briseis.
David was the devoted brother to his brothers (3) Joseph, Damon and Dennis, as well as his sisters (4): Breyanna, Sherry, Dawn and Dina.
A host of aunts and uncles, nieces, and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews also survive, as well as an extended family and countless friends David considered as family.
Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his grandmother Blanche and one brother, Daryl.
Relatives and friends are invited to David's memorial service which will commence at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, November 11th from the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) in Troy. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call from 2-3pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Masks are required to enter the funeral home.
A private repast will be held for immediate family and close friends following the service, details will be posted by family
