Obituary of Bridget A. Domey

LANSINGBURGH- Bridget A. Domey, 50, of Lansingburgh, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 4, 2021, following a brief illness. Bridget was born in Troy on January 14, 1971, the daughter of the late Kevin A. Miles, Sr. and Alice V. (Swart) Miles. Bridget was a lifelong resident of Schaghticoke and has always worked in healthcare for many years. She was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School, class of 1989. Bridget was devoted to her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and godmother. She doted on her granddaughter, Sophia, whom she cherished, as well as her godchildren. Bridget enjoyed life's simple pleasures, such as camping with her family. She was a beautiful, loving soul who will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory, her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 29 years (together a total 38 years), Kevin J. Domey, Sr., whom she married on April 11, 1992 at St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Kevin J. Domey, Jr. (Samantha), Cody Domey and Brittany Domey. She was the cherished "Nanny" to her granddaughter Sophia. Dearest sister to Kevin A. Miles, Jr. (Sandra), Duane W. Miles and Alice Miles Huff (Tony). Beloved aunt and godmother to several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by an aunt and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 4-7 pm, Tuesday, February 9, at Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) in Lansingburgh. **Face masks are required inside the funeral home and social distancing is to be observed.** The funeral service will be private.
