Obituary of Vanessa Ann Sherman

Troy, NY Vanessa Ann Sherman, 37, entered eternal rest on April 18, 2020, with her loving family by her side after a long battle with breast cancer, Born on October 25, 1982 she was a graduate of Lansingburgh High School. She was the daughter of Audrey A. (Gezzo) Vallee and Edward D. Sherman. Vanessa leaves behind her four children: Mariah J. Davis, Maddie R. Davis, Jeremy W. Smith and Bella N. Sousie; three sisters: Victoria (Lou) Sherman, Audrey (Shawn) Carter and Amber Vallee; her maternal grandparents, Nancy and John Gezzo; paternal grandparents, Marie and (Donald predeceased) Sherman and her best friend, Ashley Meyer, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Vanessa was a free spirit, always looking for the next adventure she loved watching movies going to the drive in and long rides. She would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. The love she had for her family as well as ice coffee, lottery tickets, and the color red, will always make us smile and have fond memories. A service celebrating Vanessa's life will be held at a later date.
