Obituary of Dawn DeShaw

Cohoes, NY On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, Dawn DeShaw, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 54. Dawn was born on July 29, 1964 in Pittstown, NY to John E. Brundige and Geraldine (Papers) Brundige. On October 27, 1990, she married Jack E. DeShaw. Dawn loved going to concerts, especially when Kid Rock and many of her other favorite bands came to town. Dawn also loved coming up with fun and creative projects and ideas, such as her lollipop trees. She is survived by her husband Jack, her two children: Jeanine and Charlie, her four grandchildren: Dominic, Alexander, Christopher and Lakee, Jr. as well as a nephew she was raising, Robert. She is also survived by her sisters: Rita (Wayne) Badger, Rose (Paul) Sherrie, Nelly (Dave) Ransome, brothers: George (Beth) Brundige, Ray and John along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2ndAvenue (corner of 104thSt.) Lansingburgh with Deacon Bob Sweeney officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Funeral Home on Monday from 12 Noon until 2 PM, prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in Tomhannock Cemetery, Tomhannock Road, Pittstown, NY.
