Obituary of Marie A. "Little Gram" Kennedy

Marie Little Gram Kennedy, 90, peacefully passed away on April 27, 2018 in East Greenbush, NY. Marie was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was the daughter of Charles and Caroline Kennedy. Marie lived a full and beautiful life. She loved to travel the world with both friends and family. She enjoyed the arts, golfing, reading, and most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an active board member for Showcase theatre and would take her grandchildren to plays, ballets, and concerts. Marie was always dressed spiffy complete with heels, her favorite brooch, and lipstick. She was a devoted Catholic and was very involved at her church and in her community. Marie will be remembered for her grace, wisdom, style, witty humor, and unconditional love for her family. She is survived by her children: Patricia Leach, (Gerald) of Troy, NY, Francis Coughlin IV, (Marisa) of Lee MA, Janice OBrien, (Scott) of Johnston, RI, Carol Brown, (David) of Stowe, MA, Leslie Carl, (David) of Mellenville, NY, Marie Palmer of Pittsfield, MA, Christine Clark, (Rodney) of Lee, MA, and Susan Buno, (Kenny) of Catskill, NY. Marie is also survived by her 32 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass, for Marie, will be celebrated on Saturday morning, May 5th, at 11 oclock from St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 119 Broad Street, Waterford, NY 12188. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th St.), Lansingburgh on Friday, May 4th, from 5 to 7 PM.
