Obituary of Paula C. von der Lancken

Troy, NY Paula von der Lancken died on November 30th. She is survived by her sister, Carla. Paula was a talented poet and a great lover of animals. She adored her music and enjoyed dancing and making art. She was a loving soul who took in stray animals and people. Paula was employed at the the Hudson Valley Community College library until early onset Alzheimers forced her to retire. She was loved by all who knew her sharp wit, intelligence and most of all her kindness and beauty. A Memorial Gathering in her honor will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017, from 1 to 3 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th St.), Troy, NY 12180.
