Obituary of Carl C. Guynup

Carl C. Guynup, 84, died suddenly at home on Sunday, October 29, 2017. Carl was born in Mechanicville, NY to the late Carl H. and Fannie Foster Guynup. Carl was a US Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He worked for Freihofers Bakery in Albany retiring after 25 years of service. Carl attended Trinity Church in Watervliet, NY. Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his two brothers; Harry and George Guynup and two sons; William and Carl Guynup. He is survived by a daughter, Donna Smith and three sons: Craig, Robert and Michael Guynup. Carl is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday, November 3, 2017, at 10 AM from the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th St.), Troy, NY 12180. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 6 PM. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Schaghticoke, NY.
