Obituary of Willie J. Nelson

Troy Willie J. Nelson, 63 of 7th Avenue, died on Saturday March 25, 2017 in the ER at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness. Born in Avon Park, FL, Willie was a resident of Troy for the past 25 years. He leaves behind to mourn his loss; the mother of his children, Christina J. Gilliam of Rochester, NY., and his two sons: Joshua and Andrew Nelson and three daughters: Shavon, Allyshia and Katelyn Nelson. A period of visitation and remembrance will be observed in the chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th St) Lansingburgh on Thursday afternoon from 1 to 3 PM.
