Obituary of Maria E. Russo

JOHNSONVILLE Maria E. Russo, 65, of Johnsonville, passed away in the comfort of her loved ones on December 20, 2016. She was a resident of Troy before moving to Johnsonville 9 years ago. Maria was the matriarch of the family. Her greatest joy was taking care of everyone, and saw to it that things got done. She helped anyone in need no matter who they were or their circumstances. Beloved mother of Patty (Dan) Jarvis of Rensselaer and Paul E. Van Alstyne of Johnsonville, cherished grandmother of four grandchildren and dearest great grandmother of five great grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday (December 23rd) from 5-7 p.m. at RIVERVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy.
