Obituary of Florence M. Albert

South Glens Falls, NY- Florence M. Albert, formerly of South Glens Falls, died on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 after a long illness at Diamond Hill Nursing & Rehab in Troy. She was 70 years old. Ms. Albert was born in Glens Falls on November 29, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Azade Joseph and Irene Lena (Allaire) Albert. She resided in Queensbury and in the Glens Falls area for most of her life. She was a graduate of South Glens Falls High School and Adirondack Community College, where she obtained an Associate's Degree in secretarial studies. Florence is survived by her daughter, Angela Caplette of Salem, Virginia, her son Thomas (Margaret) Traver of St. Paul, Minnesota, her granddaughter Alexandra Traver of St. Paul, Minnesota and her two brothers; Larry & Raymond Albert, both of South Glens Falls. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 - 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23rd at Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) Troy.
