Obituary of Paul Gilman

Paul Gilman, 67, of Troy, passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, November 29th.
Beloved husband of Linda Mae (Comproski) Gilman. Loving father of: P.J. Gilman and Donald Culnan. Caring stepfather of: Lisa Comproski and Nelson Comproski. Cherished grandfather of: Latisha Comproski. Dearest brother of: Diane McCormick (of Abingdon, VA) and Karen LaBeau.
Also survived by a sister-in-law Rose (The Late James) LeBeau, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Paul was born in Troy on November 21, 1948. He was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Wagar) Gilman. He was a lifelong area resident. At a young age, Paul entered into the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He served his country from 1967 until 1970. Upon his honorable discharge he returned to Troy and worked with local businesses, formerly employed by both R.P.I. and Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, December 3rd from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at RIVERVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 218 2nd Avenue, (corner of 104th Street) in Troy, where a funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon.
