Obituary of Madelyne Russell

Troy Madelyne Russell, 84, passed away peacefully at the Springs Nursing & Rehab Centre after a brief illness. Madelyne was born in Troy to the late: James Joseph and Susan Gladys Hughes Cummings. She was a lifelong resident of Troy. She is survived by her children: Jane Hunter of Cohoes, Regina Russell of Shaftsbury, VT, Edward Russell of Green Island and Diane Lee Russell of Troy; one sister, Helen Marie Brady of Green Island; grandchildren: Heath and Jason Russell, Peter Hunter, America, Nelida, Jesus, Ebaristo and Hector Lebron, Clayrissa, Misty Blue, Clay and Gerry Rhodes, Bernice, Richard and William Bordon. She is also survived by 2 nieces and a nephew. Besides her parents, Madelyne was predeceased by her husband, John Russell who died in 1988, and siblings: Susan Darlene Russell, John Earl Russell, Jr., Janice Russell and Joanne Russell. Funeral Tuesday afternoon at 12 Noon from the Chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc. 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th St.) Lansingburgh. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10 am until the Service time. Interment will take place immediately following in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Belle Avenue, Troy, NY.
