Obituary of Keith Armand Castle

Troy- Keith Armand Castle, 50, of Troy passed away on July 20th, 2014 surrounded by the love and care of his family as well as the staff at Samaritan Hospital. Keith was born in Troy, NY on July 5th, 1964 to parents Theresa Dayter and Richard Castle. Keith graduated from Troy High School in 1982 and continued on to co-own Sta-Brite Dry Cleaners with his brother Brian. Keith married the former Kimberly Brunina in 1988 and together they had three children, Amanda, Kaitlyn, and Eric, all of whom he loved and was extremely proud of. Keith will be remembered for his extraordinary tailoring skills and often designed his children's Halloween costumes from scratch. Keith will also be remembered for his charming nature and sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. Keith enjoyed many things but most can remember him on Sunday mornings playing and singing to old country music such as Patsy Cline, George Jones or Elvis Presley. Besides his children and parents, Keith is survived by his five siblings: his twin Kevin Castle, Brian (Luanne) Castle, Mark (Patty) Dayter, Ann (Kevin) Perrotte and Michelle (Dave) Edgerley. Keith is survived by many nieces and nephews: Kelly, Kevin, Heather, Brian, Tyler, Peyton, Dylan, Austin, Matthew, and Madison. He also leaves behind his ex-wife and long time friend Kim as well as her family. Keith always remained close with them throughout his life. Keith's extended family includes a sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law, his mother-in-law, and nieces and nephews. Keith was predeceased by his nephew Nick Castle and his best friend Michael Arnold. His family and children would like to extend the biggest thank you to the staff at Samaritan hospital, as well as friends, family, coworkers, and the Riverview Funeral Home staff, as well as everyone else who has sent their kind thoughts and extended a helping hand during this time. Funeral Services will commence at 10AM on Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 2nd Avenue (corner of 104th Street) in Lansingburgh. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery on Middletown Rd in Waterford. Keith will be reposing in the Chapel of the Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday July 24, 2014. The Family will be present to receive relatives and friends from 5PM until 8PM.
