Obituary of E'Shane Tyree Walker-Myers

E'Shane Tyree Walker-Myers was born on October 31, 1997 in Troy, NY to Tyronda Walker and Jeffrey D. Myers. E'Shane completed his earthly journey and entered into eternal rest July 19, 2014. E'Shane attended the Troy City Schools and was a straight A student. He was one of the kids' that really loved going to school. He had a love for reading and unlike many children, when Christmas rolled around, he asked for books & crossword puzzles. He was looking forward & excited about graduating from High school in two years and planned to go to college. E'Shane also loved playing sports. He played for Spring Little League for several years and enjoyed playing basketball with his brothers. He spent a lot of time with his younger brother Nasheer, watching basketball and playing NBA 2k. He was very family-oriented and often helped his mother with his younger siblings. E'Shane was soft-spoken, funny and a very likeable kid who was loved by many. Those left to cherish E'Shane's memory include his mother, Tyronda Walker, his siblings: Jeffrey, Jamier, TySharon, Tania, Nasheer, Jamiah, Kly'Janaee & Jah'Zara. Grandparents Ronald Walker, Edith Ray, James & Lula Myers; his uncle Shane Ray(Zy) who he was very close to and was named after; Godmother Aurelia Ray. He was also blessed to share a brotherly-sisterly bond with Briana Hutchinson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. E'Shane will be joining his father Jeffrey D. Myers and sister Na'Kyi in glory who preceded him in this earthly journey. Funeral Services in celebration of E'Shane's life will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 12pm at the Bethel Baptist Church; 2165 5th Ave, Troy, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the church on Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm, prior to the service. Interment will follow in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, located at 51 Belle Avenue, Troy, NY 12180.
