Obituary of Beatrice Golowaty Hubbard

Beatrice Golowaty Hubbard 94 of Petersburg NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 8, 2014 with her loving family around her. She was born in Cohoes, NY, the daughter of the late Henry St. Gelais and Mary Pette. She was the wife of the late Alfonso Hubbard and George Golowaty. Beatrice was predeceased by 2 daughters: Joyce Golowaty & Lynn Simon. Beatrice is survived by 3 Sons: Nicholas Golowaty of Petersburg N.Y., Walter Golowaty (Donna) of Toms River N J. and Michael Golowaty of the Philippines. She is also survived by her canine companion Mya and 2 stepdaughters: Becky Neaton and Fay Maxon; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was predeceased by her sister, Janet Chapko; brothers: Henry St.Gelais, Clarence St.Gelais, Donald St.Gelais and Raymond St. Gelias. A Memorial service will be conducted at the Riverview Funeral Home, 218 Second Ave (corner of 104th St.) Troy NY 12180 on Wednesday, March 12 at 1 PM. Private burial service at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Community Hospice of Rensselaer County 295 Valley View Blvd Rensselaer NY 12144.
