I knew Sam at Wittenberg. He was well liked, kind and smart. He was always supportive of his friends. I lost touch of him after Wittenberg days. i was sorry to hear of his passing.
Sam's special way started many new skiers on a lifetime of fun on the slopes. He had a way of guiding unsure novices thru their first encounters with sliding so that they wanted even more fun. The Jiminy Peak GET program will not be the same without SAM>
This is so sad and so difficult to understand... Sam was such an amazing person. We enjoyed his humor, loved his smile and enjoyed his stories. He will be missed by so many.... We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.....
Always a smile, a comment and Sam style. One of the original crew from the very beginning of the GET Program at Jiminy Peak. We will miss him very much.
Julie and I were honored that he counted us as friends, and joined us at our wedding, June 28,2010 at Jiminy Peak. I miss his chuckle at ALL my lame jokes. <3
