Obituary of Susan Margaret McCullough

Troy Susan M. (Bronk) McCullough, 68, formerly of the Lansingburgh Apartments, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Susan was born in Watervliet to the late, Edwin N. and Marguerite Waddington Bronk. Susan was a lifelong resident of Troy, most recently residing at the Eddy Heritage House. She was educated in Troy public schools. Susan worked in housekeeping for many years, employed by both Leonard and St. Mary's Hospitals. She was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church of Lansingburgh, the former United Methodist Church of Lansingburgh and the Grace Methodist Church of Troy. Sue enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her friends and family as well as her church family. Sue is survived by a sister, Ruth A. Bronk Stewart of Alba, MO; her brothers; Charles M. Bronk of Troy, William A. (Mary) Bronk of Castleton, Walter F. (Rose) Bronk of Lowell, MA; Raymond J. (Linda) Bronk of Troy, Harold R. (MaryAnn) Bronk of Troy, sister-in-law, Carol Bronk and many nieces and nephews and several grand nephews and grand nieces. Besides her parents, her husband Gerhard T. McCullough and a brother, James R. Bronk, predeceased Susan. Susan will be reposing in the Chapel at the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue, corner of 104th Street, Troy, New York, 12180, on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 until 7pm. A funeral service will be held the following the day, Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 1PM, from the Riverview Funeral Home, the Reverend E. Allen Siebold, Pastor of Cornerstone Community Church of Lansingburgh officiating. Her interment will follow in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
