Obituary of Craig S. Troue

Troy Craig S. Troue, 53 of Lansingburgh, passed away on Saturday evening, July 20th, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Craig was born in Troy and was a lifelong resident. A graduate of Catholic Central High School, Craig went on to Boston University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in 1982. He was a stockbroker with the former VTR Capital of Latham, NY. Craig will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his boundless generosity his love for debate and love for people. His father J. Paul Troue, Esq. predeceased Craig. He is survived by his mother, Nancy Doyle Troue of Lansingburgh a daughter, Francesca Neaton of Rochester, NY, siblings: Gary P. Troue, Esg. of Lansingburgh, Sherry T. (John) Gilmore, Esq. of Grafton and Pamela H. Troue of Guilderland. He is also survived by three nieces: Kathryn, Colleen and Caroline Troue all of Troy. A Memorial Mass of Christian Death & Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Church, 25 115th Street, Lansingburgh, NY 12182 on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:30 AM, relatives and friends are invited to attend. Craig's family wishes to extend special thanks to The Community Hospice of Columbia/Greene County and the staff of Barnwell Nursing & Rehab. Center in Valatie.
