My loyal, trusted roommate when we were young and liberated gals, living in Washington DC. She shared her life experience with this country girl, teaching me about friendship to a new dimension. our lives took different roads, but we never lost touch in our hearts. My hands shake as I write this... I am suddenly awash with memories and the sound of her voice, still on my answering machine, asking me to return the call. Oh, sweet, dear friend, would that I could but dial your number and you could answer. I must trust that you knew how much you were loved, and are now most painfully missed. God Bless......
