Obituary of Carolyn L. Pearson

Troy Carolyn L. Pearson, 67, passed away on Wednesday, May 29th 2013. Carolyn was born in Troy, NY on September 27, 1945 to the late William H. and Vera Bersaw Roberts, she was raised in Pleasantdale and attended Lansingburgh High School, graduating in 1963. Carolyn attended Faith Lutheran Church and was a member of the Capital District Cruisers Car Club. She was employed by New York Telephone Co. for several years, as well as Bordens Co. of Menands, Norton Labs of Green Island and Hannaford Supermarkets, retiring in 2012. Carolyn loved to cook, bake, hunt and fish and spend quality time with her grandchildren making "Snow" ice cream and cookies. Carolyn was the widow of Edward W. Pearson who died in 1986. She was mother to Eric M. Pearson and grandmother to Tyler & Rachel Pearson. Carolyn was sister to: William (Gail) Roberts of Melrose, Vera Jean Murray of Troy, Marion (Michael) Daus of Wynantskill, Douglas (Lynne) Roberts of Albany, Constance (Paul) Hoffmann of Shaboygan, WI and Deborah (Leonard) Levensailor of Pleasantdale. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Monday afternoon at 1o'clock from the Riverview Funeral Home, Inc., 218 2nd Avenue at 104th Street. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at the Riverview Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4. Her interment will be in Blooming Grove Rural Cemetery.
