Mr. Bartholomew was such a kind, sweet, gentleman with a wonderful memory and good sense of humor. We always enjoyed his company, and any occasion that we saw him about town was a happy experience. He was an outstanding gardener and loved to share his talents with us. God Bless you all. Rich and Lois

We are so sorry for your loss. Family is the one bond that we never release when our loved ones pass. That bond becomes part of who we are, the decisions we make and the way that we interact with the rest of society. Our hearts go out to all of you at this time.

My memories of my Dad include piling all 5 kids into the back of a station wagon and driving to all kinds of interesting destinations which we didn't appreciate half enough- a patient, giving, humble man with a wry sense of humor- he was a loyal and loving husband, father, brother, uncle, son and a friend with a love of nature and life.

My dear uncle was a good and gentle man. I remember many trips to his home to visit him and Aunt Kitty and all my cousins. What great food and companionship. There are too many stories to tell. His devotion to his family was outstanding...as was their devotion to him. I know their love will be with him for eternity. Some day we'll see you again, if we can live the kind of life as you did.
