So sorry to hear of your loss. I went to high school with Paul and was able to see him at the 40 year reunion in 2010. He was a good guy and and I'm sure he will be greatly missed! 'Australia'

Paul was one of my best friends growing up in Elmira. We had so many adventures together; like the time he saved me from Indian Cliffs with a tree branch, or the time we rode our bikes to the thriving metropolis of Burlington PA ( and had to be rescued in a rainstorm by his grandfather), or our many misadventures at the downtown block dances. My most vivid memories however are of our long philosophical discussions about life. Paul was and is still the most intelligent person I ever knew. Much of what I know and believe today came from those discussions. Thank you, Paul.

Paul was such a great man. I had the honor of knowing him, Stephanie and their son Emerson. I grew up only two houses down from them in Linlithgo. I ended up babysitting his son Emerson when I was a teenager. Paul was such a kind, and generous person. He would play softball with all of the Lighthart kids in the field across from his house and he helped me study for my Math regents when I was in the 9th grade. A regents that if it weren't for him, I would have definitely failed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time. Paul, may you rest in peace. You were a wonderful individual and you will be missed so very much.

When I was 10 years old, I had the great fortune of Paul entering my life when he fell in love with my oldest sister, Stephanie. Paul was the brother I had always wanted and then some. A handsome rock guitarist, Paul was both ultra cool and down to earth. He always had a great sense of humor and was endless fun to be with. After Stephanie graduated from college and moved away, I treasured weekend visits when the two of them expanded my horizons in the â

Donnie and all the family and friends of Paul. I am saddened to hear of Paul's passing. Although we lost touch over the years I have many fond memories of the early 70's playing in local rock bands with Paul. He was a great performer, showman, and above all friend. You will be missed my friend. Prayers are with you all. Damon

This is my favorite picture of you both. Most of my memories are of Paul dropping you at my the house to go golfing or the one meal I got to share with you both at Cracker Barrel. Even until the end he had a smile on his face and a witty remark to make. You were so very blessed to have such a friend and spouse for so many years. As your friends, we know we can never fill that void for you, but we spend the next 40 years trying!
