Obituary of Beatrice I. Lawyer

Beatrice Isabel Lawyer, 97, of Colonie, died Wednesday January 11, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. She was born to the late Frank and Nettie Bowman on March 17, 1914 in Johnstown NY. Beatrice is survived by: Two sisters: Betty Peterson of Chicago, IL and Eleanor Denson of Detroit MI. and sister-in-law June Bowman of Gloversville, NY. Six children: Francis Lawyer Jr., of Bridge Port ,CT; Jeanette King and Jackie Lawyer both of Colonie, Carolyn Lawyer of Amsterdam, Judith Lawyer of Schenectady and Lester Lawyer of Gloversville. Beatrice is also survived by: 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 35 great great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 1:00 PM at The Riverview Funeral Home, Inc. located at 218 Second Avenue, Troy, NY 12180. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Those who wish may make a contribution in care of the family to assist with funeral expenses.
