Obituary of Annetta Ann Hewitt
TROY –
Annetta Ann Hewitt, 70, of Troy, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her son’s home in Hagaman, NY on May 16, 2024.
The daughter of the late Edgerton Dakin Ewing and Ella (Sousie) Ewing, Annetta was born on July 22, 1953 in Troy, New York and was a lifelong proud resident.
In life, Annetta enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo and spending time with her friends, but most of all, she loved her family and her beloved cats dearly. She will be warmly remembered for her spirit of “just living in the moment” and not worrying about tomorrow.
Loving mother of Dakin and CandyLynn Werneburg. Cherished Nana of: Nicole and Shakem Saunders and Zachariah Francis. Dearest sister of: Helen, Wanda, Bernard, Victoria, Deborah, Laurie and Lisa.
In addition to her parents, Annetta was predeceased in death by three siblings: Loretta, Leo and James (T-Joe).
Annetta’s Family are beyond grateful for all the support you have shown us throughout this time of grief. Your kindness and thoughts will never be forgotten. We ask that you keep our family in your continued thoughts and prayers.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend Annetta’s Celebration of Life being held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, starting at 2PM at Uncle Sam Lanes, 600 Fulton Street, Troy, NY 12180.
