I met Rob in 1985 when I first started working at Faddegon’s. He was one of the Forman I worked under and I knew right away he was a good man. He expected quality work from himself and anyone he worked with. Rob was funny and bright but he let you know if he wasn’t happy in a quiet way which demanded respect. All the years I have known him I never saw him yell at anyone. He didn’t have to. It was a wonderful quality of his, one I think was rooted in a strong sense of self. His love for nature was well known. He had a reverence for nature that was special and at his core. I will miss him. A song came on the other day that reminded me of him and it hit me like an electric shock. My deepest sympathies go out to his wife Maria who he loved so much, and his family and friends.

I met Rob in 2002 when I worked PT at Faddegons. He always greeted everyone with a warm and friendly smile.
Rob designed and landscaped our backyard in our previous home. His expertise in horticulture, and vision for design, Rob turned our yard into a beautiful oasis.
We recently moved to a new home and reached out to Rob again. Rob was planning and working with us on the landscape design. He suggested one of the plantings being a pear tree. For its beautiful flowers, symmetric shape and for privacy.
With a heavy heart we learned of Rob passing away suddenly. We will be working with the Faddegon family, and are planting a pear tree in honor and in memory of Rob.
Keeping the memories close in our hearts.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love, Claire & Chris

Rob was like a brother to me. He was a couple of years younger, but we became close friends in high school. Along with his wife Maria, we shared countless memories and a whole lot of laughter. The comfort and joy we experienced together was a beautiful thing. I’ll miss you, my friend.
