I worked with Patrick (Murphy, as the guys called him) with a company called GTS. It was a contractor for Sears appliance delivery. When I was "new" they put me with Murphy and he showed me the ropes. He was a whiz with the map and never even opened the map book, especially in Massachusetts. He was a very calm and polite man and I enjoyed the many delivery runs we had together. We really Worked hard and I know Pat loved that job. He taught me a lot about the job, he was my partner for quite awhile. This is truly sad to hear about my friend "Murphy", even though i have moved away from New York I always think back to this job and the guys that worked there. Not only did Patrick teach me about maps and appliances but also great customer service and treating people the right way, something that is so very important in the career I have chosen permanently. While I did not know his family, I hope that you know I will always remember him and will be keeping you all in my thoughts through this very difficult time.
