Jerry was a great friend of mine. We played sports together all through school . Jerry could run like the wind. We would ride around in his folks car because he got his permit and I had a license but couldn't get the car because my dad was a doctor. We had really fun times together. He was a super guy. Rest easy my friend. Harvey Howd

Thank you all -Kimberly, Robin, Lisa, and Jerry- for sharing your Dad with me. I am saddened. I have read the prior comments and am affirmed - all my life I knew I was in the presence of greatness. I can hear his voice, 'Marydell," with a lilt of partnership worthy of modeling. May the love and caring I felt from my uncle Jerry surround you and all who like I are blessed by our memories and experiences with Jerry Hinman. Love, Shannon

My deepest sympathy to all of the Hinman family. I played in the Albany Twilight League for Finkle's Jewelers and faced Jerry a number of times. Jerry was a very quiet, yet competitive pitcher with a super fastball. He was also one of the nicest guys in the league. Everyone respected him for his athletic ability and his intense manner on the mound. One of the best pitchers ever in the league. The ATL has lost a fine man who will always be remembered by those who played in the league with and against him.

What a sweet picture of your dad. And seeing the pictures of all of you, your dad and your mom makes my heart ache. For so many years I spent more time in his Home then I did my own. I ate so many many pork chops there, he had a right to declare me as a dependent on his tax return! His patience, tolerance and generous acceptance of me and Shannon as a presence in your life was a huge help to me when I needed it. I will remember him with great fondness and appreciation. Love Aunt Ro

Dear Kim, Robin, Lisa, and Gerry, I so sorry for the loss of your dad. I never heard a mean word or ever saw him get mad. What a great dad and person for all of you to have had in you lives. He will be missed by many and I'm sure by all of you. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you, and all of his other family members. Love to all of you. Dave

Uncle Gerry was always a quiet, sweet man. I can still remember hearing him say "come on MaryDell". He will be missed. I know he is up in Heaven with Aunt MaryDell and will watch over all of you. Dawn & Al

To the extended Hinman family we offer our condolences and understand the deep feeling of loss at this time. "uncle Gerry" was always a pleasure to be around be it as a young child or a grown adult, he will be missed. We hope the many wonderful memories help ease the feeling of loss and as time goes on brings smiles to your faces and hearts. Love Jeff Deb and family
